Day 9. Alternative Activity

Saturday May 14th 2022

The walking conditions had not been good and we were tired; Sue had spent a long time in the car on her own and wanted to do some sightseeing; Mick was suffering with a swollen ankle and a pain in his right calf muscle; hence Mick & Sue decided to spend a day in the car sightseeing on "The Golden Route" south of Tarbert and Jim & Lesley decided to do a shorter route; we linked up at Drinishader mid-afternoon and visited the Harris Tweed Exhibition, before returning to Tarbert for a look around
